About Sveti Lovreč
The old medieval town of Sveti Lovreč lies in west-central Istria and takes its name from the small 8th-century church of St Lawrence. Settled since prehistoric times, it has many historic buildings, and its layout and old town wall date from the 9th century. In the early Renaissance it was a military town and seat of the military command for southern Istria.

Limska gradina is a prehistoric archaeological site in Istria, between the villages of Krunčići and Jural, on a plateau above the end of the Lim Fjord (Limski kanal).
