Besides history, Poreč offers entertainment and events of every kind, for sports fans, families and anyone who wants to enjoy its many cafés and clubs. Neighbouring resorts such as Vrsar, Novigrad and Umag are easy to reach, whether for a fish dinner or an evening stroll through their old towns.
A trip into the still little-known hinterland, the “green heart” of Istria, is also rewarding.
