Quadrangular castle

Kaštel Quarko

Kaštel Quarko is the ruin of a castle fortress in Kaštel Štafilić in Dalmatia. The nobleman Ivan Quarco of Trogir received permission in 1558 to build it on the coastal stretch of Bile; it is first mentioned in 1588, when it had 17 residents.
