The Blue Flag is an award for beaches. The water is tested regularly during the season and must be excellent. Cleanliness, toilets, first aid or lifeguards and environmental information on the beach are also required.
No, the flag is awarded anew every year; the list is published in June. This page shows the 2026 list. If a criterion is no longer met, the flag can be withdrawn even during the season.
