About Senj
Senj is one of the oldest towns on the Croatian coast and lies at the foot of the Velebit mountains. Above the town stands the 16th-century Nehaj fortress, a reminder of the Uskoks who fought the Venetians and Ottomans from here.
About Kvarner Bay
Kvarner Bay lies in the northern Adriatic between Istria and the Croatian mainland. For travellers from Central Europe it is the quickest part of the Croatian coast to reach. Most of our accommodation here are apartments with a sea view, and many of them welcome dogs.

Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Das Apartement hat eine gute Aufteilung, ist an allen Fenstern mit Insektengittern ausgestattet und ruhig gelegen. Sowohl innen als auch die Terasse und Gartenanlage sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Wäschewechsel nach einer Woche. Die Aussicht von der Terasse ein Traum. Die Vermieterin ist außerordentlich freundlich und bemüht die Gäste zu verwöhnen. Kurzer Weg zum Strand, zum Einkaufen ist ein Rad oder Scooter empfehlenswert. Es gibt 2 große Supermärkte in der Nähe, aber im Städtchen findet man vom kleinen Markt, Metzger, Bäcker alles was man braucht, meist frischer und günstiger. Man erreicht die Stadt auch zu Fuß am Strand entlang. Allgemein herrscht in Senj eine angenehme gechillte Stimmung. Wir haben uns sehr erholt, überall gut gegessen und hielten uns oft im Apartment auf, weil es einfach gemütlich war!
