Utvrda San Michele

Utvrda San Michele (Fort San Michele) is a fortress on the hill of the same name in Pula in Istria. The Austro-Hungarian Empire built it at the end of the 19th century to protect the main harbour of its navy. The site today lies within the grounds of the General Hospital of Pula, which uses it as a storehouse. Please keep this in mind when planning: the data does not show whether or how the fort can be visited.
