Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria

The Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria is located in Pula on the highest hill of the city, in a converted Venetian fortress between the sea and the hills around Arena, Zara and Sv. Mihovil. The museum was founded in 1955 as the Museum of the Revolution and has been housed in the fortress since 1961. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and from October to March from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
