Limska gradina

Limska gradina is a prehistoric archaeological site in Istria, between the villages of Krunčići and Jural, on a plateau above the end of the Lim Fjord (Limski kanal). The fortified settlement lay on the edge of steep cliffs, which naturally protected it to the south and west; to the north and east, dry-stone walls secured the access. Within the settlement, an Iron Age necropolis with 74 urn graves has been excavated. Finds show that the site was inhabited into Roman times.
