Šandalja is a system of caves and underground chambers near Pula in Istria, named after the quarry where it was discovered during work in 1961. It is an important archaeological and palaeontological site. Šandalja I yielded a simple stone tool estimated at about 800,000 years old, considered the oldest man-made object in Croatia.

The Church of Gospe od Mora (Our Lady of the Sea) is a Roman Catholic church in Pula, built in the 1890s as the garrison church of the Austro-Hungarian navy and known in Italian as “Madonna del Mare”. It is a neo-Romanesque basilica with a round apse, suggested transepts and a square bell tower beside the entrance front.

The Arch of the Sergii (Slavoluk Sergijevaca) is a Roman honorary arch in the old town of Pula. It originally stood in front of the Porta Aurea, the “Golden Gate” and main gate of the town, which was demolished in 1829; that is why only the town side of the arch is decorated.

The Small Roman Theatre is located in Pula on the eastern flank of the town hill, below the old castrum. Remains of the foundations of the stage building and parts of the semicircular auditorium survive, some of which have been partly reconstructed.

The Herculean Gate (Croatian Herkulova vrata, Italian Porta Ercole) is a Roman city gate in Pula, Istria. It is considered the oldest surviving monument of Roman architecture in the city and was built, according to sources, in the middle of the 1st century BC.

Jangalooz Adventure Park is an adventure and climbing park near Pomer in Istria. On multi-level obstacle courses you can climb, balance across suspension bridges and rope elements, and use zip lines.
