Fort Monvidal (Utvrda Monvidal) is a land fort on Monvidal hill in Pula, built in the 19th century by the Austrian Empire to protect the naval harbour. Horseshoe-shaped, partly dug into the hill and built entirely of stone, it later served as a store, a restaurant and a bar, among other things.

Utvrda San Michele (Fort San Michele) is a fortress on the hill of the same name in Pula in Istria. The Austro-Hungarian Empire built it at the end of the 19th century to protect the main harbour of its navy.

The Herculean Gate (Croatian Herkulova vrata, Italian Porta Ercole) is a Roman city gate in Pula, Istria. It is considered the oldest surviving monument of Roman architecture in the city and was built, according to sources, in the middle of the 1st century BC.

The Arch of the Sergii (Slavoluk Sergijevaca) is a Roman honorary arch in the old town of Pula. It originally stood in front of the Porta Aurea, the “Golden Gate” and main gate of the town, which was demolished in 1829; that is why only the town side of the arch is decorated.
