About Sukošan
Sukošan lies about ten kilometres south-east of Zadar on a bay with one of the largest marinas on the Adriatic. The village has pebble beaches, a promenade, restaurants and cafés.
About Dalmatia
Dalmatia has around 400 km of coast with countless islands offshore, one of the most indented coastlines in Europe. Most of our accommodation here has a sea view, and many places are just a few minutes from the water. There are also holiday homes with a pool and apartments for couples and small families.

For swimming: June to September (sea from 22 °C). Calm sea for children: June to August (waves mostly under half a metre). For hiking and cycling: April to May. Hot: July to August (up to 15 days over 30 °C).

Die Wohnung war bei unserer verfrühten Ankunft gegen Mittag bereits für uns vorbereitet und wir durften sofort den Schlüssel entgegen nehmen.

Die 3 Schlafzimmer und die beiden Bäder sind sehr geräumig und waren sehr sauber. Es gab 3 unterschiedliche Härtegrade bei den Matratzen, so dass für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte.
Die gut ausgestattete, ebenfalls sehr saubere Küche ist groß und mit einem Esstisch ausgestattet. Einzig das dort ein bißchen "hineingequetschte" (und leider recht unbequeme) Sofa störte den Gesamteindruck ein wenig.
Ein Stern Abzug bei der Lage, weil nirgendwo erwähnt wird, dass die Wohnung sich direkt neben einer Kirche mit einem sehr aktiven Kirchturm befindet. An unserem ersten Morgen dort sind wir um 6 Uhr von 10minütigem Glockengeläut aus dem Schlaf gerissen worden. Danach haben wir immer mit geschlossenen Fenstern geschlafen, die zum Glück sehr hochwertig und geräuschdämmend sind.
Es gibt eine großzügige Terrasse mit einer kleinen Hollywoodschaukel und einem großen Tisch. Dort saßen wir oft und haben den Sonnenuntergang beobachtet.
Die Vermieter und die Kinder sowie die Großmutter, die vor dem Haus einen kleinen Garten bewirtschaftet, waren alle sehr nett und man konnte sich mit Fragen jederzeit an sie wenden.
