About Kavran
Kavran is a small village on the south-east coast of the Istrian peninsula, about 8 km from Marčana, 23 km from Pula and 10 km from the centre of Krnica. It has a wonderful view of Kvarner Bay and the Učka mountains to the north, and is the perfect place for a quiet holiday surrounded by unspoilt nature.

Šandalja is a system of caves and underground chambers near Pula in Istria, named after the quarry where it was discovered during work in 1961. It is an important archaeological and palaeontological site. Šandalja I yielded a simple stone tool estimated at about 800,000 years old, considered the oldest man-made object in Croatia.

The monument to the fighters of the People's Liberation Struggle and the victims of fascism is a sculpture group by the sculptor Vanja Radauš in Titov park, directly on the waterfront promenade in Pula. On the sea side, in front of a stone wall, it shows two groups of naked, dying men; on the back of the white stone wall stands a female figure as a mother holding an apple in her hand.

Хорошее место за эту цену, есть свое паркоместо и хороший общий мангал с принадлежностями, можно с животными за отдельную плату - Без машины не советую (далековато от моря, магазинов и кафе), нет электросчайника, мало розеток, нет раннего заселения и позднего выезда, хозяйка не терпит опозданий при выезде даже на 5 минут!
