Zmajeva špilja, also called the Dragon Cave, lies on the island of Brač directly above Murvica. It owes its name to a mysterious dragon relief inside, which an unknown monk is said to have carved into the rock in the 15th century. You will also see a moon and other ancient cult symbols there, as well as human figures and birds on their nests above the chapel on the east side. The monks lived in the caves at that time and built a chapel there.
